SATURDAY 6 JUNE 2026
The Laleham Residents Association is delighted to be holdng an Open Gardens Day on 6th June 2026, and we would love you to be part of it – as an exhibitor or a visitor.
This friendly, relaxed event invites residents and visitors to wander through a variety of local gardens, sharing ideas, inspiration, and good company along the way. We now have sufficient volunteers willing to open their gardens to fellow residents and locals alike, to make this event viable. Thank you very much, volunteers.
Open Gardens Day is a wonderful way to strengthen community spirit, meet neighbours old and new, and celebrate the pride we all take in our village. As a bonus, the prize-winning Laleham Pond conservation area will be open. This is rarely open to the public.
Please email us if you’d like to open your garden on the day, and you have not already told us. Email us with “Open Gardens” in the subject line: lra@laleham-residents-association.org.uk
On the day, visitors will need to first visit the Heritage Centre in The Broadway, where they can purchase a map showing where the gardens and other points of interest are located. Then visit on foot as many locations as you wish. Possession of the map entitles you to access the gardens. Income from map purchases will be used by the LRA to the benefit of Laleham village. Please bring cash.
Gardens will in most cases be open from 12 noon until 5pm. The maps will be on sale from 11:45 am, until 4pm. Some gardens may offer refreshments, and if so may welcome a donation to a charity. So again, please bring cash.
