The 2023 LRA AGM was held on 13 June in the Lucan Pavilion. The Pavilion was full to overflowing.
Highlights:
Donnica Colman retired from the Committee after 14 years service in various roles, and having been awarded a Spelthorne Civic Award to reflect all she has done for the community.
John Thesiger took over as Membership Secretary.
All three Councillors for the Laleham and Shepperton Green Ward attended, including the two recently elected ones (Darren Clarke and Anant Mathur).
The Spelthorne Local Plan had recently been “paused” by the Spelthorne Councillors. The potential (possibly highly negative) impact of this on the Green Belt within Laleham was discussed.
